"While people across the country struggle, there are thousands of
un-filled jobs at ThyssenKrupp steel mill. The $4.2 billion project is
currently under construction in Calvert, in the north part of Mobile County.
A spokesperson for the company says they are gearing up to fill many of those
positions. But even before thousands of permanent workers are hired, the
project is already creating thousands of indirect jobs. In addition to the
construction workers, ThyssenKrupp says its hired 304 permanent workers, and
there's still about 2,400 more jobs available."
